There are few camps and abundant wildlife on the open floodplains and isolated tree islands of the Selinda Concession, making it a prime destination for safari connoisseurs. Selinda Camp is situated on the eastern banks of the often dry Selinda Spillway, looking magisterially out to the expansive plains surrounding camp. There are nine spacious safari tents on raised wooden decks under thatched roofs, each with sliding doors leading out to a private veranda and sweeping views over the plains. All of the tents have luxury en-suite bathroom facilities with a stone bathtub, intriguing trinkets from across the continent and a pair of Swarovski binoculars for private use.

The expansive main lodge construction, elevated on decking under thatched roofs, has various different viewing alcoves to enjoy meals, snacks and afternoon tea, while elsewhere there is a swimming pool, photography gallery, massage room and a ground level boma for drinks around a campfire. Activities include day and night game drives, guided walks close to camp and river based activities such as canoeing and boat cruises when the Spillway is flowing. While the accommodation is outstanding, the overwhelming attraction is the fabulous, diverse wildlife. Elephant, lion, cheetah, leopard, and various antelope are all present in large numbers, with large packs of wild dog regularly passing through.
