Day 1
Fly overnight to Johannesburg.
Day 2
Board a connecting flight to Kasane, taking roughly two hours. Here you will be greeted and transferred to the waterfront for a two night stay at Chobe Chilwero. The finest lodge in the area also happens to boast a luxurious spa, ideal for downtime between activities.
Day 3
Morning and afternoon game viewing activities around Chobe. You will want to explore the national park on game drives and take a river cruise to watch elephants, buffalo and antelope come to the water.
Day 4
This morning's activity ends at Kasane airport, for a light aircraft flight to the Selinda Concession, in the Linyanti Wetlands. A three night stay at Zarafa Camp will be the height of safari decadence.
Day 5
Morning and afternoon game drives take in the teeming wildlife of the concession, its wide open plains and tree islands perfect for big elephant herds and prides of lion.
Day 6
You may want to explore the Zibidianja Lagoon by boat or on a walking safari close to the banks. Zarafa has a bush gym and a vintage library tent for leisure time, in addition to your private deck, lounge and plunge pool.
Day 7
After a morning activity you'll fly by light aircraft to the Jao Concession, an authentic Delta "wet reserve," for a three night stay at one of Botswana's most stylish camps.
Day 8
Mokoro excursions and boat cruises are superb from Jao Camp, while game drives are also offered throughout the year. You may not see quite the volume of animals that you did in the Selinda Concession, but the classic, lush Delta scenery is unrivalled!
Day 9
It's been a while since you were pampered at Chobe Chilwero, but Jao has an equally enticing bush spa where you can enjoy a range of massage treatments with an African twist.
Day 10
This morning you'll fly south to the unique Makgadikgadi Pans, for three nights at one of Uncharted Africa's outstanding permanent camps. The stark, lunar landscapes and panoramic horizons have to be witnessed to be believed.
Day 11
Varied activities here include meerkat encounters, Bushman interaction, quad biking and sleepouts on the pans.
Day 12
Nature drives in this area are always fascinating, becoming full-on game drives with vast herds of migrating zebra followed by opportunistic predators during the rainy season. The primeval history of this area is etched on the pans, with ancient stone tools to discover with your guide.
Day 13
After breakfast it's a light aircraft transfer to Maun and a flight to Johannesburg. Your journey home travels through the night.
Day 14
Arrive back in the UK.

It may seem a little unnecessary to highlight a luxury Botswana safari when so many camps target the top end of the market, with an overall emphasis on low impact / high value tourism. But this itinerary really is special, perfect for a honeymoon or once-in-a-lifetime itinerary for clients to say they have experienced the absolute cream of what Botswana has to offer. In addition to upmarket accommodations, we’ve also looked for diversity of experience and guaranteed wildlife for a magical trip.

2 nights Chobe – 3 nights Linyanti Wetlands – 3 nights Okavango Delta – 3 nights Makgadikgadi Pans
